Love/d On A Friday: Cross Equals Healing

He was wounded for our transgressions...  with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.  Isaiah 53:5 AMP

By His wounds you have been healed.  1 Peter 2:24 AMP

He healed all who were ill.  This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:  "He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases."  Matthew 8:17 NASB

We're continuing our series today about what the cross has done for us means in our real lives.  The Bible says that through the cross, Jesus has swapped our sicknesses for health.

So following on from last week, when we're facing the PROBLEM of not feeling well, we could say:  "This sickness is part of the curse of the law.  But Galatians 3:13 says Jesus has redeemed me from the curse of the law.  Therefore I have been redeemed from this sickness."

I really recommend Gloria Coleman's book of Bible verses to encourage you.

This is part of our series, lasting until Easter, about what the cross has done for us.
